Dovelet Terms of Use

By signing up for Dovelet, you accept these Terms of Use and the Community Rules.

1. Who can use Dovelet?

You must be 18 or older to use Dovelet. Enter your correct date of birth when you sign up. The server checks your date of birth; anyone under 18 cannot register.

Use only your own account. Using someone else's account is not allowed.

2. For the two of you

Dovelet is free. Each person can pair with only one partner at a time. You join through an invitation link or code, and the person who invited you approves the pairing. There is no search, partner recommendation, or public profile.

You can send each other touches and notes, share your mood, and water your shared plant. You can also report someone, block them, end the pairing, and delete your account in the app.

Joining, replying, and sharing are your choices. Respect your partner's boundaries. Pairing does not mean agreeing to every request.

3. Content and behavior we do not allow

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Threats, violence, harassment, hate speech, child abuse and exploitation, illegal content, spam, and fraud are prohibited. Sharing private images without consent, or threatening to do so, is also prohibited. This rule does not mean that the app has an image-sharing feature.

The Community Rules form part of these terms. Content and behavior must comply with applicable laws and store rules.

4. Reports, blocking, and review

You can report a note or a person and block the person in the app. Reported content is sent to us for review. You do not need to wait for a report decision to block someone.

We review every report within 2 days. For urgent cases, such as child safety, threats, or self-harm, our target is 24 hours. These times refer to starting the review, not a promise of a final decision within that time.

Reports are reviewed automatically every day, including weekends, using the Claude API. Content flagged as serious is hidden immediately and queued for review. The app's owner makes the final decision and handles official child safety reports.

A review may result in no action, content removal, a warning, a 7-day account suspension, or account closure. A violation after two warnings leads to suspension; a violation after suspension leads to account closure. Serious violations, such as threats or child safety violations, do not have to follow that sequence. An evidence copy of removed content is kept under the applicable retention rules.

You can appeal a decision by writing to hazimokutan@hotmail.com. We respond to appeals within 7 days. Where possible, someone other than the person who made the first decision reviews the appeal.

5. Ending a pairing and deleting your account

You can end the pairing without your partner's approval. Blocking also ends the pairing and prevents new invitations. Both people lose access to shared content. Your partner receives no notification of ending or blocking; they see that the pairing has ended when they open the app.

You can delete your account in the app. Read the Privacy Policy for information about processing and retaining personal data. Legal retention duties and exceptions for report evidence apply.

6. Provider, contact, and law

If you think someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number without waiting for a report decision.
